Description: 1905 ROLLS ROYCE Novelty Pencil Sharpener Description: Here's a cute little vintage novelty pencil sharpener in the shape of a 1905 Rolls Royce. The body and wheels are metal and the removable top is plastic. I believe the metal finish originally had an overall bronze tone to it, but it has darkened quite a bit with age and use, so the finish has a patina quality to it.. Size: approx. 3" x 1.75" x 1.75" Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1970s or so. Condition: Very good, I'd say. This item has been well used, but still works fine as a pencil sharpener and desk ornament. The wheels turn easily. As noted, the original bronze finish has darkened quite a bit with age and use.
