Description: The coin listed is the beautiful release of the 2024 Perth Mint Lunar series III Year of the DRAGON .9999 Fine Silver bullion 1/2 oz coin in Perth Mint capsule. A beautiful latest and 5th release in the Lunar Series III coins presenting what appears to be a Water Dragon. The reverse of the coin presents the DRAGON coiled in fine detail filling the reverse of the piece. The DRAGON with a serpent body and the head outward facing brings a change to the usual profiled dragon design. From the mouth of the DRAGON there appears to be a stylized design of more water, steam than fire. To the left of the mythical creature is the flaming Pearl of Wisdom while below the character for 'dragon' is also present along with the year of issue 2024 and the title DRAGON. The ever present traditional 'P' Mint Mark of The Perth Mint has an addition of 125 to mark the anniversary of the Perth Mint. The obverse of the coin presents a wonderful rendering of Queen Elizabeth II. Circling Her Majesty, the name ELIZABETH II, the denomination 50 CENTS, the nation of legal tender AUSTRALIA and the weight 1/2oz with finesse 9999 Ag.. The years of Her reign 1952 - 2022 are also detailed, central to the top of the coin.
