Description: Being offered is a grouping of 5 spectacular 1923 German Treasury Notes with denominations of 100,000 Reichmarks. These bonds are from my personal collection and the five bonds are sequentially numbered and ready for a new home. They are over 100 years old and look brand new as a result of being locked away for many, many years. These are REAL, authentic, uncancelled bonds, unlike many of the fake 1924 German bonds you see posted, with the proper embossed Imperial Eagles and watermarked paper. Each bond includes all original 8 coupons which would have been clipped off upon redemption for the 8-15% interest. These bonds are historically significant in that they represented the German governments attempt to raise money to pay war reparations from WW I. German citizens were required to purchase these bonds, and these represented the smaller denominations during the hyperinflation of 1923 with the largest bonds in this series hitting 10 Billion Reichmarks. Highly collectible, these are a perfect addition for any collection. Items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. See photos to see condition, watermarks, etc.
