Description: Antique 8 volume set of Celebrated Crimes by Dumas. This is the Bruswick edition by the Brunswick Subscription Company. published in 1895. The books are green cloth hardcover with a blue fleur de lis pattern with gold center design on the cover and gold lettering on the spine. The top page edges are gilded. Each book has a beautiful illustration in the front matter. They are in good condition for their age. The books are smaller than typical hardcovers, measuring 5" x 7.75". The hinge on the inside front cover of a few of the books is cracking a bit (see photo for Vol 6 where it is most prominent). There is some fading to the gilt lettering on the spines, and the bottom of the spines as well. The pages are very clean, with no writing/highlighting/marks.
