Description: Beautiful 1920's watercolor by listed French watercolor artist Suzanne Emilie Vazou (1889 - 1948) of a landscape scene, probably in France. I found 3 other pieces from the same timeframe including one in the collection of the French Assembly that was purchased directly from the artist in 1921 and exhibited at the Salon of women painters and sculptors with a very similar color palate (see Reference FNAC 7358) by the same artist with an identical signature. Gorgeous colors throughout, reminiscent of an evening setting sun. This watercolor on paper measures 10 x 13. Signed boldly in the lower left corner. Condition of the work itself is good.
