The setting is primarily solid 18k yellow gold, with silver scrollwork decorating the outer border of the ring's top. Please view the setting from all sides--especially the undergallery--to really appreciate its beauty. They don't make rings like this any more. The face is set with three natural emeralds. The top and bottom emeralds are set within little gold floral heads, while the center is just a pronged head (possibly a replacement head? but it's well done and fits perfectly within the aesthetics of the ring. Total emerald weight is approximately .25 ctw. The ring measures 3/4" north to south. There is a faint 750 mark for 18k and it tests positive for 18k (and the top, for silver).
