If so, this decal was affixed somewhere to your mixer (except the Model R did not have it). After 1937, an adhesive foil decal was used that often went missing so this label could also be used with newer mixers made after 1937 so long as you know it was your exact label. I am restoring a Model G now and had a low volume production run of a few labels made for my project. I am keeping one for my mixer and selling the others on eBay. I had to pay a hefty set up charge to create the computer template but now you can have an original decal reproduction of your own at a fraction of the price that I paid to create the production run. I have already sold a couple to a collector and have a few left to sell. This decal was made new from a computer rendered picture that I took of my KitchenAid Model G just prior to sending it away to be professionally painted. The decal is made from 2mil automotive grade vinyl with a top coat of abrasion guard. This decal type is designed to last year round in the outdoors, season after season, on classically restored cars (i.e. it should last nearly a life time on a KitchenAid mixer even with constant wiping and food particles). The computer sensor color matched the red, gold and black to near exacting standards and the gold will be made in a metallic color. The size (length and width) was matched perfectly to my Model G original decal. Whether you repaint your antique or vintage KitchenAid mixer or not, you will want to get a new restoration decal to bring it back to its original glamour. The mixers were built to last 100 years but the decals were not. Get a new, one of a kind, decal and make your mixer happy today. The decal measures 2.88" wide by 1.28" tall at its widest and tallest points. One of the pictures shown in this listing is the computer template used to make the decal and the other is the actual decal itself.
