Description: This early Buck 184 Buckmaster variation-1 pre-patent fixed blade knife is a rare production variant, manufactured before the patent was granted. Only a limited number of units were produced in the initial year. The first-year production reportedly included around 2,600 units, though some sources suggest more may have been made. The knife features a 7-3/8" clip-point blade with a plain edge, serrated top edge, and saw teeth on the spine. The blade has a sandblasted finish and a thickness of 0.288". The handle includes a stainless steel guard, knurled surface, and removable butt cup. The hollow handle does not contain a compass. The knife comes with a Bianchi International Universal Military Holster, which includes a honing stone. The knife measures 12-1/2" in total length. This original and authentic knife was made in the United States in 1984. There is no box. Pictures are part of the description. Please read the item condition.
