FOR YOUR BUYING PLEASURE TODAY IS THIS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC GENUINE EBEL WW2 C 1939-44 BRITISH MILITARY A.T.P. WRIST WATCH WITH A FULLY SERVICED MINTY CAL 99 MOVEMENT. A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER WRIST WATCH!! CASE: This superb EBEL military WW2 wristwatch has a beautiful stainless steel screw back case. It is in beautiful condition for its age. The case has been lightly polished and only shows some light normal usage marks. It is in excellent condition. I can see no noticeable dents or dings. The case back is engraved with the stamp A.T.P. (Army trade pattern) 96862 and has the British Military Broad arrow. The case only has the odd nick and mark, it looks fabulous! It measures 3.1cms (31mm) in diameter excluding the crown. This case has the classic Military ATP look. DIAL: This is a lovely original beautiful white FULLY SIGNED original EBEL dial which is typical of the period. It has a fantastic natural patina It has black painted Arabic numerals which show a little wear in places. The lumed dots at the hour markers are in generally good condition with some having a little loss in places. The hour and minute hands are steel. The dial is FULLY signed 'EBEL' and 'Swiss Made'. The dial has a nice sub second hand. The gorgeous 'railway' outer minute track is excellent. The crystal is plexi and has a few light marks but is in all round good condition. MOVEMENT: This is a beautiful genuine cal 99 manual wind 15 jewel movement in excellent condition. This beautiful movement has been FULLY SERVICED by my watch maker and is in excellent working order and has kept very good time to within 30 secs per day as tested over a 24 hour period. It is smooth running and winds and sets well. The crown seems original and looks to be in lovely condition. BAND: This beautiful watch has a black 16mm genuine leather band fitted with spring bars which is brand new. It has not been worn. The band and watch measure 9 inches in total length, so I would estimate that the watch will fit up to an 81/2 inch wrist comfortably.
