Color veers toward otter color in some light. Double handled bag with discreet and clever leather center flap which tucks into a 'pocket slit' for concealed closure. Full tan grosgrain lining, beautiful, inside small zipper pocket, 2 small pockets and full length shallow pocket opposide the flap pocket. Leiber started her handbag busness in 1963, this purse looks like one of her earliest handbags. There is no metal plaque inside with her name, the name Judith Leiber in gold is printed on the inside pocket. Beautifully made purse, handsome design. Beautiful early vintage Judith Leiber purse in tan suede and leather having a clever concealed leather flap that folds into a slit in center. Purse is beautiful and does show some wear but it has not been abused and is pretty clean for it age. Edges of leather - at handles, trim, pointed end of flap closure etc. show age appropriate wear including color rubs and general wear. Handles have been stored in a way that trained them to rest in an uneven way but this doesn't affect how they are in use. One could maybe retrain them. Suede is in great condition with light age dust. Inside grosgrain lining great, no staining. No bad odors. 4 bottom feet present and good. Selling as with some age appropriate wear, still beautiful.
