Description: I have owned this broach for many years. The condition is mint. The fastening pin works perfectly. It's of substantial weight as well. I don't know the composition of the Ivory. I have looked under magnification, and I don't believe it to be real animal ivory (that's a good thing). The floral pattern is really detailed and very well made. Even under high magnification (a 10X Jewler's loop) the detail is excellent. This is a superb well made piece. Anyone who loves vintage clothing and design would appreciate the detail of this broach. Note: The $5.00 bill and change do not come with this sale. I just wanted something to give the viewer an idea as to the relative size of the broach. I will package it with great care for shipment.
