Model reference is SBGE248 and the current MSRP is $11,500. This model of Grand Seiko is the first to combine 18K yellow gold with blue color scheme which is one of the favorite color combinations in two-tone wristwatches made famous by the ‘bluesy’ Rolex Submariner. In this particular Grand Seiko the blue color has more of a purplish hue on the dial where the bi-directional rotating bezel really shows a royal blue tone that is highly reflective due to the sapphire crystal placed on top of the bezel. The current Spring Drive GMT Caliber 9R66 powers this watch with 30 jewels and an astounding accuracy to +/-15sec per month. Condition-wise the watch is running flawlessly as it was sold in April of 2021. Cosmetically the watch is in very good pre-owned shape. There are many surface scratches on the case, buckle and bracelet. The yellow gold part of the bezel including the inner ring and outer notched section has a few tiny dings/dents besides the scratches. The watch is in its original unpolished state. The bracelet will wear up to 8.5-9” inches in length. It comes with ALL OF THE ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES including inner/outer boxes, Instruction Manual, Limited Warranty Leaflet (warranty filled), hang tag, and fabric travel pouch.
