Description: Up for your consideration is a Griswold #10, Small Block Logo Cast Iron Skillet. Made in Erie, Pennsylvania by the Griswold Manufacturing Company from 1939-1957. CONDITION: Skillet is in good vintage condition, but has some pitting on base from previous rust. The rust has been entirely removed with restoration. Skillet has a small wobble at the 5 and 11 o'clock positions corrected by 2 index cards. Cooking surface is smooth but has some light micro pitting and one small confined area of a few flea bites - this will fill in quickly with seasoning and further use (see pics). Some wear over logo and base of pan, but lines on on logo are clean and visible. Skillet does not spin, has no cracks, chips, rust, or repairs. Please see photos as part of description. ~Disclaimer: All vintage and antique cast iron typically shows some signs of wear including light utensil marks, discoloration, and minor pitting. I always do my best accurately picture and describe each piece so you can buy with confidence. RESTORATION: This vintage piece of cast iron has been carefully cleaned to bare iron using a combination of electrolysis, lye, and vinegar. It has been seasoned with 4 layers of grape seed oil at 500 degree for a deep, beautiful, patina finish. SHIPPING: Each piece of cast iron is carefully packaged to ensure you get your item in the exact condition you purchased it. SIZE: Rim to rim: 11-3/4 inches Depth: 2 1/4 inches Length (including handle) 16-1/2 inchesWeight: 5lbs. 5oz.
