Description: Winner receives an original signed & estate stamped gouache carpet design painting by listed French artist Jean Fressinet (1889-1972). The piece is housed in a gorgeous archival quality matte and gallery frame. There is an unknown gallery label on the verso, seen magnified in picture 7. The label dates the piece to the 1925-1930. The piece is signed with the artist's initials in the lower right corner, seen magnified in picture 5. The piece is also inscribed F. 135, and stamped with the artist's estate stamp in the lower right corner, hidden by the matte. A photo was taken of the piece prior to framing, seen in pictures 6 & 8. The piece is in exquisite condition with no damage whatsoever. There are no rips, tears, repairs, foxing, staining, toning, creasing, or in-painting. The gallery archival matte and frame are also in excellent condition with only a few small nicks on the edge of the frame. The painting is an absolute gem and ready for hanging as-is. The frame measures roughly 15.25" x 19.25", with the image itself measuring roughly 4.5" x 8". Please note the pictures may not be as clear as we'd like due to the settings on the camera to reduce the glare.
