Description: * NEW-in-Box and STILL SEALED in its original shrinkwrap! Here's the lovely vintage 1966 Springbok "VIRGIN AND CHILD WITH ANGELS, SAINTS AND DONOR" ("The Okta-Puzzle") art by Fra Angelico, octagonal 20-1/4" jigsaw puzzle, PZL 8002. * Stunning devotional Early Renaissance art (circa 1445) by Dominican monk Fra Angelico (1395-1455) as displayed in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Detailed information is on the back of the puzzle box. Made in the USA by Springbok Editions, New York; litho in Canada. * Springbok's puzzles are famous for their unique die-cuts, sturdy pieces and clear, richly colored graphics. Within a puzzle, no two pieces are the same! * Puzzle comes in its original octagonal box that measures approximately 14-1/4" x 1-1/2". The completed puzzle will be octagonal, 20-1/4" in diameter. * CONDITION: This is an authentic, pre-owned vintage item that is nearly 59 years old. NOTE that the original artwork (tempera on panel) is close to 600 years old, so the whole puzzle has a deliberately distressed appearance. * As it is still SEALED in its original factory shrinkwrap, this puzzle can be presumed to be 100% COMPLETE and in MINT condition. * As it is still inside its original shrinkwrap, the box appears well-protected and in sturdy, EXCELLENT vintage condition. Shrinkwrap is tight and intact over the front, back, and seven of the eight sides. One side (top right, back) has a minor dent and slight dings to the exposed corner, as shown in closeup photo. Plastic is loosened but not breached on the bottom edge. PLEASE view ALL photos to see the condition of the box. * I see NO water stains or any evidence of moisture damage. Some "puzzle dust" is trapped between the shrinkwrap and the box; this is normal:) * No weird odors; just the light "old puzzle" smell from decades in storage:) * From a smoke-free, feline-friendly home. * PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS and use the "zoom" feature to assess the condition for yourself, as the photos are an important part of this Description. * HOW I PREPARE PUZZLES FOR LISTING: I personally assemble the puzzle. I do not undo or reverse previous repairs. I check for possible replaced pieces, but these can be difficult to detect.
