Description: This offering is for an antique early 20th century circa 1908 milkglass top hat made for the presidential campaign of Taft and Sherman. The hat retains a great deal of it's original red and blue paint on the milkglass base making it very patriotic looking. Inset into the opening of the hat is a tin liner with a paper campaign jugate featuring the likenesses of Taft and Sherman. Please note that Mr. Sherman's face is completely gone and there is some wear and loss to Mr. Taft as well. The hat measures app. 2.5" tall and 3 5/8" at the widest point. The glass is undamaged and there is minor wear to the paint surface but no breaks, cracks or repairs. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 10.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
