Description: This item is an old estate necklace of the finest period quality, gemstones & design. Here we have a very lovely Antique Art Nouveau era necklace displaying a total of 15 gemstones. Stunning antique Czech Glass necklace by MAX NEIGER Brothers. Blue Peking Glass and breathtaking Brass details. No signature on clasp, but we strongly believe the work of Max Neiger Bro's .. because details & quality are what you find throughout their unsigned works. Very rare.Great vintage condition too. The camera flash washed out the matching turquoise blue on the bottom teardrop stone, but they all match. Much better in person .. you see & feel the quality not typically found today. Highly collectible artist. This strikingly beautiful piece, created sometime during 1900 - 1920s, features an original one-of-a kind designed hand carved leaf-like bronze swags' pendant displaying the finest hand cut genuine Czech deep Blue Lapis stones, natural Amethyst accents & beautiful blue Turquoise repeated in the strong link chain. A total of 15 gemstones ..The strategic color plays & design form is gorgeous! A fine quality designed necklace that can be worn anywhere .. casual or dressy outings. From our private estate collection .. Honestly, I've seen & heard the compliments that come w/this necklace whenever worn from other women who always made a point of remarking how much they loved it. Necklace remains in excellent 100% original condition .. no issues, no prior repairs nor in need of .. it's in gently used condition, w/a gorgeous naturally aged patina to chain that I would never attempt to alter nor polish. As an antique, expect to find normal age related color variations within the naturally patinated bronzed color chain that greatly adds to it's beauty. DimensionsNecklace is a long 16" in long, the centered Blue Lapis stone is approx. 1/2" inch height x 1/2" inch wide. The equally sized facet cut purple Amethyst & blue glass round accents are approx. 3/16" in each in diameter. Lapis center stone is mounted on an open back mount, as shown. The long taper designed turquise drop is 3/4" in long; drop form taper is narrowest at secure mounting to pendant that is 1.5" in diameter. 12 additional Turquoise beads of 1/4"in uniform diameter appear throughout this long necklace, 4 spaced between intricately crafted open design metalwork beads. Gorgeous hand crafted quality throughout entire piece, including it's long chain. The C-clasp lock works fine, is original & very secure, however, length is easily placed over head.
