Description: Beautiful vintage rear derailleur. New Old Stock and complete. Only small defect noticed: there's some slight deformation to the front edge of the rear cage between the pulleys, I'm guessing it was from getting tossed about in the parts bin. The cage is nice and straight, it's just a barely noticeable aesthetic defect, but I need to mention it. I've tried to highlight it in the last 3 photos. V-GT with the long cage. The LUXE version had the upgraded alloy cages. Disraeli Gears (website) has a nice page on this derailleur. Great for a restoration or a friction shifting touring, clunker, early ATB build. These derailleurs were designed with a loose/ floating mounting bolt (it is captive once installed on a bike.) It will ship with a piece of tape securing the bolt to the derailleur.
