Heralds are advertising flyers that are typically placed at theaters, and sometimes included in Playbills and Programs. This single sheet, single fold, three section herald is for William Shakespeare's "The Taming Of The Shrew", featuring Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, and playing at the Nixon Theatre, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1940. The souvenir herald is in great, vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear. However, there are slight diagonal creases at the two top corners of the herald. At this time and over the next few months, I will be selling a number of vintage heralds, playbills, souvenir programs, as well as other movie and theatre memorabilia, and will combine shipping if at all possible.
