Description: CONDITION: Used. Very good, grade A- condition. The small screwdriver tip is slightly twisted. Otherwise, little or no wear on the blades and other tools. Everything moves smoothly, with excellent snap. . This is an early 1980s knife with a solid awl and a grooved corkscrew. No 90° stop on the bottle opener. The custom wood scales do not have slots for toothpick and tweezers, but they do have a metal inlay glued on. MODEL DESCRIPTION: The Victorinox Spartan Swiss Army Knife features the eight most basic Swiss Army tools. The Spartan is the most popular of the full-sized knives from Victorinox, and it's probably what most people think of as the "standard" Swiss Army knive. The Standard is a very similar model that does not have a key ring. This knife has custom wood scales, made by Paul and Kyle King of Vermont in the late Aughties. It's an unusual design with very rounded edges, and a glued-on metal insignia. The wood is light colored and fine-grained, possibly birch? The Victorinox Spartan knife is 91mm (3½") long, about 26mm (1") wide, and 14mm (0.55") thick.
