Vintage 1940s Small Brown Mouton Barrel Sleeve Winter Coat

Description: 40s Vintage Small Black Velvet Metal Studded Barrel Sleeve Coat Details: - 1940s fantastic large barrel sleeves long mouton winter coat - ring hook closure at neckline under spearpoint collar (small neck opening where ring currently placed) - fully lined with an inner warm lining as well as a silk lining - barrel sleeve is finished with a split cuff to make the sleeve stand out - lining is beautiful and includes underarm guards, an inner pocket, straps to put arms through and keep coat on without putting arms in sleeves and bottom back area drawn in to keep back of coat beautifully draped *one of my favorite features - sleeves are fully lined as well in silk satin - shoulder pads and front slit pockets lined in flannel which includes an original receipt for when this coat was climate stored at the place of purchase for warm weather for the year 1960 and giving a peak into the past of the original and lifetime owner - best for a size small based on shoulders, neck and chest but please base purchase off of actual measurements to ensure a good fit (a friend tried it on and is a size 6 but had on light weight clothing so best for size 4 or smaller size small) - this is a very heavy coat so will be 10lb to ship by the time it is boxed in a large enough box and likely cheapest via UPS Ground Condition: Very Good - one small hole on large sleeve pointed to in image with pile flipped up and shown next to it with pile down as it would be. The pelt in this small section does seem dry but the lining being more narrow makes so the sleeve doesn't get stressed when worn so shouldn't be an issue - slight discoloration at one section of bottom inner lining pointed to in image - pelts all seem in very good condition less the small area on sleeve noted - lining is in beautiful condition less the one spot pointed out - coat smells like someones house (has an odor but not unpleasant) Measurements: taken flat and doubled when necessary on outside of jacket Bust - 44" Waist - 44" Hips - 49" Shoulders - 17" (due to military style influence at time this was made this is meant to extend out wider than actual shoulders with shoulder pads built in) Bicep - 22" Length - 42" Sleeve - 23" Neck opening - 14.5" taken on inside of collar Sweep - 26" Brand/tag: - Kaufman's, Louisville, Kentucky Material: - mouton pile (shorn sheepskin dyed brown), silk lining Shipping: Once a package leaves my hands with USPS or UPS it is out of my control.
