Description: Vintage Hand-Hooked Rug, 35” x 24” Very Good Condition, Pretty Colors and Design, probably from PA. This vintage hooked rag rug from the 1970s or thereabouts is in overall nice condition with the exception of some slight fabric loss on one edge for 2-3” (see Photo 4). It also could use a new burlap binding. The rug is bright and colorful with pretty red roses and other flowers in a pleasing geometrical pattern. It features a black border at the edges with a 4-corner design containing a red rose & 2 blue flowers with 5 yellow ones laid in a semicircle underneath. Green leaves with darker veins are included. A gray center ground has a large floral medallion with 2 large red roses, 4 red buds, 2 blue petalled flowers and 5 yellow flowers on each side, with 2 more at each end. Many leaves surround the flowers in light green with darker green shading. This rug would be nice in any room or as a welcome rug, and it complements many color schemes. The hooking is uniform, and the rug is unusual. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have.
