Description: Nice set of World War II period US Navy wool trousers. Midnight blue wool trousers as worn with the winter service jumper. These are nice in that we know that these were his "working" trousers, as there is a sizable repair in the crotch - so these were clearly the pair that he wore most often. The inside waistband is named to one "BROWN, R.H.", which stands for Richard H. Brown of Illion, New York. The only information that I have on him is that he was a salvage sailor who served in the South Pacific during WWII. Measures approximately: Outside waist diameter 14" Inseam from crotch to the end of the trouser leg - 27 1/2". Please not that we are not tailors, and cannot guarantee that these will fit your specifications. The trousers remain in good condition, showing signs of age, use, and wear. There are a few moth holes, but generally fine. All buttons intact. Please see the pictures for more detail. Guaranteed 100% authentic in every respect for life.
