These WWII German/Italian Sleeve Patch belonged to a friend on mine that recently passed away. I found it with some other German militaria that I will be selling in my other listings. I believe this WWII German Sleeve Patch is related to a Italian Unit that served with the German army. It is clean overall and doesn't appear to have ever been sewn on. A friend checked it and told me it does not fluoresce (see photos). It is constructed of a black wool material and has nicely done embroidery (see photos). It measures approximately 2.5 inches from the top to the bottom edge (see photos). This is a nice/clean original WWII German/Italian Sleeve Patch that would be excellent for display with a WWII bringback collection. Only one of these I have come across in my friends collection. It is absolutely guaranteed original pre 1945 manufacture.
